Hub Pie has been family owned and run for three generations. The original family is from Dubuque, IA. They were dairy farmers who moved east for a change of scenery. They landed in Boston and realized that Boston was missing a restaurant that offers Midwestern comfort food. The family opened Hub Pie to offer their expertise in comfort food to the Boston community.
The name Hub Pie comes from the idea that Boston is a hub as the heart of New England. The recent generation has decided to add food delivery trucks. This is a great lunch option or dinner on the go. Hub Pie is best known for their famously delicious Chicken Pot Pie.
